Andrew Michaelides FFA FFTA

Senior Partner and Founder

  • Over 40 years in the profession
  • Former Director of the London Chamber of Commerce
  • Former Chairman of Hammersmith and Fulham Chamber of Commerce
  • Fellow of both the Institute of Financial Accountants and the Federation of Tax Advisors

Having founded the company more than 40 years ago, as a sole practitioner with one client, it has grown into a practice of 13 people servicing over 600 clients across many different sectors.

I personally oversee the general day-to-day running of the business as well as dealing with clients, both new and old. My particular areas of expertise include preparation of business plans, dealing with tax investigations and the acquisition and disposal of owner managed companies.

As managing partner I have overall responsibility for the management and performance of the practice, including supervising our staff across all services in both compliance and advisory.

In addition, I am focused on providing high quality accounting, taxation and business strategy services to individuals, SMEs and large corporate clients.

My particular areas of expertise are corporate and international tax, tax investigations, mergers and acquisitions, business strategy, valuation and performance analysis.


Shanez Ghani ATT

Tax Director

  • Tax specialist with over 15 years’ experience working in personal and corporate tax
  • Member of the Association of Taxation Technicians
  • Expert in tax planning and investigations

In my current role I deal mainly with personal tax clients, including everything from the preparation of self assessment returns to complex queries and investigations.

I have extensive experience across the full tax spectrum so I am always on hand to provide clients with help and advice on corporate tax issues, VAT and anything else tax-related!


Samuel Michaelides

Operations Manager

  • Experienced manager working for over 15 years in industry and finance.

I work closely with the senior management team to ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently and both staff and clients are well taken care of.

As my role oversees everything from IT to administration to HR to billing... I am usually very busy!


David Bannister ACA

Accounts Manager

  • Chartered accountant with over 13 years’ experience working for large and small to medium sized enterprises
  • Member of the ICAEW

I manage a large number of company clients and ensure all their compliance needs are met, including dealing with accounts production and VAT returns.

I am always on hand to provide financial advice to clients in all areas of accountancy.


Karen Allbury IAB

Assistant Accounts Manager

  • Over 12 years’ bookkeeping experience
  • Member of the International Association of Bookkeepers

As well as carrying out the day to day bookkeeping activities, such as preparing management accounts and VAT returns, I also manage our payroll service and ensure client requirements are accurately recorded and dealt with on a timely basis.

I have extensive knowledge of all payroll issues and often advise clients on specialist areas, such as sick pay and maternity leave.

I usually find myself doing a bit of everything but the bulk of my time is taken up with bookkeeping and accounts preparation of both annual and management accounts.

It is so important for any organisation to have an accurate and up to date set of accounts, so I work hard to make sure all the necessary information is collected, evaluated and presented to the highest possible standard.

Bookkeeping and accounts preparation form the bulk of my work at Michaelides Warner. I find attention to detail is so important - especially when presented with a large amount of financial information from a wide variety of sources - to ensure all clients get the most accurate picture of their businesses finances.

Most of my work involves preparing statutory accounts, VAT returns, management accounts and CIS services. I am always available for any queries and ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Accounts preparation, VAT and bookkeeping form the majority of my work but I do offer other added services when required. I work with a wide range of clients from different sectors.


Max Bigley

My work includes account preparations, VAT returns and bookkeeping. I also work closely with clients at their offices when necessary to ensure all information is recorded to detail and any issues are dealt with effectively.

I work with a variety of different clients. Most of my time is allocated to accounts preparation and VAT returns. I always aim to prepare the accounts in good time no matter the complexity.


Joshua Prashanthan

  • Part qualified ACCA, Accounting and Finance MSc

Most of my work consists of accounts preparation, VAT returns, CIS returns and bookkeeping. I always ensure all the necessary information is applied in the most accurate way and complete all work to the highest standard.


Jenny Sun

  • Over 2 years experience in accounting and bookkeeping
  • ACCA part qualified

My role predominantly involves accounts preparation, VAT returns and anything else the client needs!


Tina Holland

Payroll Clerk

  • Over 15 years in payroll experience

I am solely responsible for managing payroll services for many of our clients ensuring a smooth and accurate process at all times. I am always on hand to provide any assistance and answer any payroll related and HMRC queries.


Paige Nicholson

Tax Trainee

  • Over 2 years experience in personal tax
  • Accounting and Finance BSC

My main role involves dealing with personal tax returns and sole trader’s rental accounts. I work with a diverse range of clients and ensure any work is completed to a high standard. I also support the administration team in key tasks during busy periods.
